TradingView Introduces Portfolios: Real Trades, Real Insights

TradingView is moving beyond charts and into your actual trading life. The platform has just launched Portfolios, a powerful new tool that helps traders track real performance, evaluate strategy, and manage risk – all in one place.

Whether you’re trading stocks, crypto, forex, or funds, Portfolios lets you upload your trade history (or add trades manually) and start seeing your performance from a much more realistic angle. No more looking at static positions – every buy, sell, deposit, and withdrawal gets factored in.

The goal? To give traders a true picture of what’s working, what’s not, and where the opportunities are.

With built-in stats like Sharpe, Sortino, and beta, you can quickly understand how your portfolio behaves under pressure. You can also compare your performance to major indices, check for overexposure, and rebalance when needed.

Even free users can track up to 20 holdings and 2,000 transactions per portfolio, with paid plans expanding that to 50 holdings and 5,000 transactions. It’s scalable, data-rich, and surprisingly easy to get started.

For prop traders, this feels like a natural fit. Whether you’re preparing for an evaluation or managing capital across accounts, TradingView’s new feature gives you something the old chart setups couldn’t: context.
